It’s not often that you get to meet the very pillars of your inspiration, let alone work with them. For their collaboration with DENHAM The Jeanmaker, we CAVEMEN we granted the honor of working with the Rural Tailor Liam Maher himself joined by Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh of Art Comes First. Presenting AIM HIGH; a short on an inevitable collaboration, born out of commitment and allegiance.
Amsterdam-based design studio Denham just added another collaborative project to their House Guest Artist Series. The series first launched in 2010, two years after the brand was established, and has spawned one-of-a-kind works from fine artists and other creatives specializing in multimedia and mixed media works, design and more.
For the latest installation Denham tapped Art Comes First, a styling, design, and creative services duo comprised of Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh. According to Denham, the latest collection in Lambert and Maidoh’s in-house line, Avec ces Freres, explored the symbolic and cultural meaning of the color black, something the team at Denham felt should be continued in the collaborative capsule.
In addition to a few staple deep indigo and black pieces ACF rounds out the offering with a cozy pullover, button front shirts, and a hearty denim chore jacket. Check out the video below to learn more about the inspiration behind the capsule.
